EAS holds the strong belief that people are the foundation of all high performing organizations and we are committed to hiring and developing a team with strong core values which include the belief that every child can learn. A high quality teacher evaluation system must have certain characteristics: it must be rigorous, valid, reliable, be researched based; and it must employ accepted criteria for good teaching. When done fairly and effectively, performance evaluations for teachers have the potential to empower teachers and students while opening the door to achievement. EAS plans to use this theory of performance management in the process for assessing and determining the employment of current staff. It will be fair, rigorous, and consistent.
